RIYADH: Thailand’s Thanarat Penjan won Saudi Arabia’s inaugural FIM UAM Asian Supercross Championship race meeting at the Reem International Circuit in Riyadh on Friday. He also clinched the 2009 FIM UAM Asian Supercross Championship title.

Riyadh-bound Philippine motocross team standouts Kenneth San Andres and Jan Carlo Rellosa routed their rivals in all motos of the Pro Open and Pro 125 classes during the penultimate round of the 2009 NAMSSA National Supercross Series held at the Speedworld Race Track in SM City Bicutan last Sunday.

The 2009 NAMSSA Philippine Supercross Championship winds up with its 9th and pre ultimate round at the Speedworld Circuit in SM Bicutan, Paranaque City on November 22. The change in schedule is a result of the cancellation of the Lanao del Norte leg originally scheduled on the same date.
