RP Riders To Historic Saudi Arabia Asian Moto Meet

Reigning Motocross Rider of the Year Kenneth San Andres and upcoming Bicolano rider Jan Carlo Rellosa are all set to mix it up with Asia’s best riders when they compete in the 2009 Saudi Arabia FIM Asian Motocross Championship scheduled at the Al Reem International Circuit in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on December 5, 2009.

San Andres and Rellosa gained NAMSSA’s approval for berths to the Riyadh meet through their heads- up performance in the first three rounds of the annual FIM Asian series held in Puerto Princesa City, Philippines, Ulan Batar, Mongolia and Bicutan, Paranaque, Philippines.

The race marks the first time that an international motocross race is being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The race which is being organized by the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation will see champion riders from Mongolia, Russia, Malaysia, Thailand, UAE, Japan, Kuwait, Indonesia, China, Saudi Arabia and the Philippines battle for the Asian title and the bragging rights that comes with winning the historic inaugural race.

San Andres and Rellosa will be accompanied by NAMSSA Director General and UAM President Macky Carapiet, NAMSSA VP and FIM Official Arthur Valdez, technician Marciano San Andres Jr. and track engineer Allan Ayuson.
