Two international races were held this month, the 2009 FIM Asian Motocross Championships Round 1 in Puerto Princesa City last March 1 and the 2009 Total International MotoX in Cambodia last March 7. The former is a motocross race and the latter is a supercross.

Thai rider Thanarat Penjan of JAW YAMAHA DID Team dominated the 2009 Motocross Masters of Asia - Puerto Princesa International Motocross Grand Prix at Sta. Monica International Racetrack. A very young rider who rides first time on a motocross track, Thanarat rides supercross in Thailand according to his manager Jaw. This is not the first time that Thanarat won races, last November 2008, he bagged the Asian Supercross Championships in Jember Stadium, Indonesia

In Cambodia, Larry Blair won the Total 2009 International MotoX at Preak Leap Race Track. Blair dominated the race against the former champion J. Robinson.###
