There are two types of front end wheelies. One is power wheelie where in you rely on the power of the engine while you keep the front end up. While a balance wheelie is playing on the balance point of the bike as you move around.
Step 1 - Pop the clutch and gas it to lift the front wheel up.
Step 2 - As you reach the highest wheelie peak, apply pressure on the rear brake to control and avoid looping over. This will lower or drop the front wheel down.... You are now practically balancing at its peak. It is the point that you have the initiative to lower or lift up the front wheel. It's playing with the balance point!
Step 3 - Remember to keep your momentum! This is crucial to any type of wheelie. Fast or slow your brake pressure depends on your speed. As your front end begins to drop, you will need to gas it a little to obtain more momentum. Then as you start to loop over apply on the rear brakes.... And there you go....! You now complete the sequence of the balance wheelie. |
