| by Mario Mallari | I was watching the news a while ago, something struck me with images of those people who were badly hit by the recent storm...people desperately seeking help and aid yet still there are no available relief operation for them.
Then suddenly I thought why not? It’s not big but I think we can do something. Then I called a fellow trooper ask him if he's willing to ride with me for a cause and without hesitation, he said yes...and with this forum we wanted to call on every rider to ride and reach those people in need specially those who are affected severely and in very isolated areas and Barangays....we know we can easily reached them with our bikes...my backpacks can accommodate 2 kilos of rice, 12 packs of noodles and 12 cans of sardines good enough for a family of four to survived and eat for two or three days...imagine 20 riders are equal to 20 families. Not bad huh? It’s not really big but its better rather than keeping our bikes in the garage waiting for the better days to go out and ride...San Mateo, Montalban and Marikina are our favorite trail grounds-these places were the most badly hit by this calamity and it would sure be very easy for us cause we're riding in these places for years thus giving us more advantages than those relief operations carried out out by non riding groups...if you're interested, help me organize this cause-please txt or call me @ 09283747039.. Troopers please pass to our fellow riders. God bless. We are tentatively going to ride this weekend...### NB: All donations: used clothes, foods, medicine or aid in any kind, you can send @ TRAILRIDE FOR A CAUSE RELIEF OPERATION HEADQUARTERS located at Bricks compound, Lot 16 Block 176 Commonwealth Ave. ext.
