| Jan Carlo Din Rellosa March 1, 1992 Brookside, San Roque Iriga City |
Bringing glory and honor is beginning to be a way of life for JAN CARLO D. RELLOSA. At the tender age of eight, he began to reap honors for himself, his family, and for his hometown, Iriga City. Through sheer maneuvering skills and aerial acrobatic, this 16-year-old chinito is a potential threat in the word of outdoor motorcycle stunts known as motocross. Imboy, as fondly called by family and friends, inherited his love for the sport from his equally accomplished father, LORENZO D. RELLOSA JR. the older Rellosa used to race competitively during his prime. Now he juggles his time between work (as head of Bureau of Fire Protection Camarines Sur) and coaching Imboy. Moreover, within the six years that Imboy had been racing actively, he had tucked numerous awards under his belt. As an attestation of Imboys expertise in the world of motocross he had already earned four prominent Asian Motocross Edition, the two of which were held in Macau, China and Jakarta, Indonesia. In the last (August 2006) Asian Motocross Indonesia, the young Rellosa place third overall, thus making the current points leader both in the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA) and the National Speed Fest Series Organized by Mike Potenciano and sponsored by San Miguel Corporation. These accomplishments of his, earned for Imboy the 2006 Sumagang Award, a recognition given to Irigueños who are achievers in their own fields of endeavor.
Imboy was hailed as the Sports Ambassador of Iriga City during the last years awarding. Much as JC (his pseudonym in the racing circuit) and his parents dreamed in participating to other national and international tilts to further hone his motocross racing skills and to bring pride not only to his hometown but most especially to our nation, but financial constraint prevent them in attaining this dream. We believe that young man JC ’s caliber in the field of motocross racing deserves the all back-up support of trustworthy individuals who are more than willing to extend their invaluable assistance to promising talents like JC. One could never be wrong with JAN CARLO DIN RELLOSA, a force reckons with in the world of motocross racing.
